Humanity has retreated into fortified settlement zones. Cha Hyun-Su, now an unstable but powerful half-monster, wanders through the outskirts like a ghost—neither enemy nor ally.
Hyun-Su wakes in a deserted school gym, his body covered in cracked scales. He stares into a broken mirror.

2. The Human Resistance Grows Desperate
Inside the Unified Shelter District 11, survivors gather under the leadership of Seo Yi-Kyung and the military remnants. Food supplies are scarce, and monster attacks are increasing. Tension runs high as rumors spread about a new mutation wave.
Yi-Kyung interrogates a captured creature—once human, now half-transformed. It speaks in broken words, trying to warn her.
Creature (ENG SUB): “He… he is coming… the one who chooses… who survives…”
Yi-Kyung’s eyes widen. A new Alpha monster is evolving—one beyond their worst fears.
3. Hyun-Su Returns
Hyun-Su appears at the District 11 gate, his silhouette causing panic. Soldiers aim their rifles, but Yi-Kyung steps forward.
Yi-Kyung (ENG SUB): “Lower your weapons! If he wanted to kill us, he would have already.”
Hyun-Su collapses from exhaustion. When he wakes in the infirmary, he sees Eun-Yu sitting beside him. She hides her relief behind her usual coldness.

Hyun-Su smiles faintly. Her presence grounds his fading humanity.
4. A New Threat Emerges
The peaceful moment shatters as a monstrous roar echoes through the shelter walls. A gigantic creature—part humanoid, part insect—bursts from underground. It crawls with impossible speed and impales walls with spear-like limbs.
Hyun-Su’s eyes darken. The monster within him awakens.
Hyun-Su (ENG SUB): “Stay behind me. I’ll handle this.”
He charges, transforming mid-leap. His back erupts with black tendrils, his face shifts, and his strength doubles. The fight is brutal—tendrils slashing, concrete exploding, soldiers firing.

5. The Monster Evolution
After the battle, survivors examine the creature’s remains. Scientists discover a horrifying pattern: monsters are evolving with purpose. The new Alpha monster isn’t just powerful—it’s intelligent, strategic, and capable of controlling lesser monsters.
A chilling message is found burned into the ground near the shelter:
“HYUN-SU BELONGS TO US.”
Eun-Yu confronts him that night.

Hyun-Su: “Because I’m like them… and like you.”
Eun-Yu: “I’m nothing like them.”

6. Yi-Kyung’s Search for Her Daughter
Yi-Kyung is still haunted by the loss of her child, who was taken by monster forces. She receives a mysterious recording: a blurry hologram of a young girl in a lab coat calling out:
“Mom… please find me…”
Yi-Kyung is convinced her daughter is alive—and important to the monsters’ evolution.
She prepares a dangerous expedition to the abandoned research complex known as Facility Zero, rumored to be the birthplace of the first mutations.
Yi-Kyung (ENG SUB): “Hyun-Su. I need your strength. Come with me.”
Hyun-Su: “If we go there… I might not come back human.”
But he agrees.
7. The Dark Truth of Facility Zero
The team—Hyun-Su, Yi-Kyung, Eun-Yu, and a small squad—ventures into Facility Zero. The corridors are littered with dried husks of earlier monsters. A strange living fungus pulses on the walls, whispering like a heartbeat.
Eun-Yu shivers.
Eun-Yu (ENG SUB): “This place feels alive.”
Hyun-Su: “It is.”
They find video logs revealing that humans once attempted to weaponize monster evolution. Experiments on children—immune, adaptable, gifted—were central to the project.
Yi-Kyung’s daughter was experimented on to accelerate human-monster coexistence. She wasn’t just taken—she was created.
8. The Alpha Monster Reveals Itself
The ground trembles. A massive shadow descends like a god emerging from darkness.
The Alpha monster stands before them—tall, humanoid, plated like armor, with glowing red lines across its chest.
It speaks clearly.
Alpha Monster (ENG SUB): “Hyun-Su… brother… come home.”
Hyun-Su steps back, horrified.
Hyun-Su: “I’m nothing like you.”
Alpha Monster: “You are our future. They will never accept you.”
Eun-Yu grabs his arm.
Eun-Yu (ENG SUB): “Don’t listen. You’re still you.”
The monster snarls, launching a devastating attack. Facility Zero collapses as Hyun-Su fights with all his strength, but he is outmatched. Every blow sends him flying, bones cracking and healing instantly.
Yi-Kyung finds her daughter inside a glass containment pod, alive but changed—her eyes glow faintly, like Hyun-Su’s.
9. A Sacrifice in the Shadows
The Alpha monster prepares to kill Eun-Yu. Hyun-Su unleashes his full monstrous form—dark wings, skeletal tendrils, and flaming scars.
The screen fills with chaos as he roars:
Hyun-Su (ENG SUB): “DON’T TOUCH HER!”
His transformation shakes the facility. For a moment, he is more monster than human.
Hyun-Su defeats the Alpha with a brutal strike, but not before the monster whispers:
“The world will kneel… to what you become.”
10. The Ending – A World Afraid of Its Savior
Back at District 11, survivors cheer Yi-Kyung’s return with her daughter. But when they see Hyun-Su’s monstrous final form still clinging to him, fear replaces gratitude.
Soldiers point their weapons again.
Eun-Yu stands between them.
Eun-Yu (ENG SUB): “If you shoot him… you’ll lose the only one who can save us.”
Hyun-Su’s voice breaks as he looks at the terrified survivors:
Hyun-Su (ENG SUB): “Maybe… I don’t belong here anymore.”
He walks away from the shelter, leaving Eun-Yu in tears.
The final shot shows Hyun-Su standing atop a ruined skyscraper, watching the horizon as thousands of monsters gather—waiting for a leader.
Hyun-Su (ENG SUB): “If this is my destiny… then I’ll choose what kind of monster I become.”
